This week I have been preparing/collecting some more results for the paper, on top of writing the paper.
But! the main change this week is the discussion of the paper with my supervisors. It seems by adding the multi-matching to my algorithm and generating some more results for the paper, I have been slowly hijacking the real focus of the paper, therefore, I will be splitting the paper into two. One focusing on the coarsening tree approximation, and the other, multi-matching and its affect on the coarsening tree structure, and how it can be useful for much larger graphs.
This change makes it so much easier to write the paper, and will be better for other readers to understand the point of the research. Currently, the supervisors are checking the draft version of the paper and I will be giving them the results to accompany it, very soon (I want to ensure I have results for the graphs tested by Hu).
Not much else to update upon this week, much of the time has been spent writing or proctastinating to avoid writing, or outright ignoring the need to write. Next week I will be working from home and will be finishing the results/conclusions section of the paper, with a continuation on the multi-matching, before I get too detatched from it.
Have a good weekend!
